The 4th Annaba Mediterranean Film Festival has created a special programme in partnership with the Palestinian Film Institute – “Viva Palestina”. It will be held during the Festival which runs from April 24th to 30th.
For the organizers this partnership will “create a distinctive section on Palestinian cinema, highlighting Palestinian film production.” Festival curator Mohamed Allal said he was “happy to welcome the Palestinian Film Institute to Annaba. Because Palestine is in our hearts, and we are honoured by its presence among us.”
The programme for this event will bring together several directors, actors, producers and screenwriters to discuss Palestinian films. A conference on Palestinian creation is also planned.
Created in 2019, the Palestinian Film Institute promotes Palestinian cinema through networking, coordinating partnerships, organising programmes, training and workshops.
