Keshet Broadcasting has commissioned a second season of the acclaimed series A Body That Works from production company Kuma Studios.
Created by Shira Hadad, Dror Mishani, and Shay Capon, this drama about an infertile couple using a surrogate mother stars Rotem Sela and Yehuda Levi.
Karni Ziv, Head of Series at Keshet Broadcasting, expressed her excitement: “I am so happy to bring this touching relationship drama about parenthood back to Keshet 12 screens with the help of Kuma Studios. Shira, Dror and Shay’s original series of A Body That Works captivated Israeli hearts because it is steeped in love and a human touch, and its witty, fast-paced rhythm kept them entertained to the end. It’s early days, but season two is looking even better!”
A Body That Works has been broadcast in 92 countries via Netflix, AMC Networks International, CBC and SBS platforms.
At the last Séries Mania festival in Lille, the Best Actress Award went to Rotem Sela and Gal Malka.
