ATV Distribution, a Turkish company based in Istanbul, announced that Moroccan television has bought the broadcasting rights to two series: A Little Sunshine and Lifeline.
The Lifeline series has been licensed in 70 countries. With 207 episodes this drama series is about a young married woman and her son, both victims of her husband’s violence. A Little Sunshine, produced by New Generation Media and running for 117 episodes, is focused on motherhood, survival and love.
Muge Akar, ATV’s head of international sales, highlighted the importance of the purchase for both companies. Both shows, she said, have been successful in Turkey and are now set to enthral Moroccan viewers.
A subsidiary of Turkuvaz Media Group (TMG), ATV Distribution offers nearly 40,000 hours of television series, shows and films, exporting its programmes to many countries around the world.
