A festival in Hammamet (Tunisia) to develop Arabic radio and television: from May 2nd to 5th 2016.
The Arab Festival of Radio and Television is an annual event in Tunisia not to be missed! The event is organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union, or ASBU, in collaboration with Tunisian radio and television and in partnership with the prestigious ARABSAT, leader in satellite transmission across the Arab region.
The festival’s aims? To help develop radio and television production and to keep an eye on trends and innovations in these sectors which will encourage the development of creative energies and talents.
The Festival will take place from May 2nd to 5th 2016 and includes:
– A competition for television programmes.
– A competition to radio programmes.
– Seminars and workshops to discuss radio and television production issues.
The Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) is one of the oldest pan-Arab institutions. A professional organization created in February 1969 in Khartoum, its main objective is «to strengthen ties and cooperation between broadcasters in the Arab States for better production and content development.»
