TUNISIA / Announcement of the 35th Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage

In a press release on May 11^th the Ministry of Cultural Affairs announced that the 35^th Carthage Cinematographic Days (JCC) will be held from December 14^th to 21^st.

The announcement marks the event’s return after the ministry cancelled last year’s edition (see our article about this) “in solidarity with our Palestinian compatriots.” It had been planned from October 28^th to November 4^th 2023.

According to the press release the organizing committee will be led by film-maker Farid Boughdir, as Honorary President, and Lamia Guiga, director of the École Supérieure de l’Audiovisuel et du Cinéma (ESAC), who will be in charge of the event’s artistic direction.
