D’A Film Lab Barcelona has announced which projects will participate in its programme. The Lab took place from March 22nd to 25th as part of the D’A Film festival.
Geared to industry professionals, D’A Film Lab helps emerging Spanish talent find international distribution by supporting the development and production of first, second and third feature films. The Lab’s programme has three sections, two of which are for feature films in post-production.
The Final Cut section presents eight Spanish or Catalan films in post-production, all competing for a prize of €20,000. Among the selected titles are Lóngquán by Adrià Guxens, The Fissure by Álex Lora, and Head on the Wall by Manuel Manrique. The second section, Panorama Catalunya, supports four projects being developed in Catalan.
The third section, Emerging Production, trains young producers wanting to develop their first film, whether independently or with a production company. Fourteen Spanish projects were selected.
