SERBIA / Film Centre Serbia signs a co-operation agreement with China

In Beijing, the China Media Group (CMG) has signed a series of cooperation agreements with various public institutions from the Republic of Serbia, including Film Centre Serbia. Demonstrating the importance of these agreements, Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia were both present in Beijing for the signing.


According to Film Centre Serbia, “this cooperation will promote the 2027 Specialised Expo,” which will be held in Belgrade next year from May 17th to August 15th. “It will also strengthen institutional and media ties between the two countries. Exchange of content, joint production, organising events, technological cooperation and exchange of experts are planned.”

Film Centre Serbia stated in a press release that “signing the agreement marks an additional step in strengthening cultural and audiovisual cooperation between Serbia and China, with the aim of developing international partnerships and new opportunities for the domestic film industry.”
