In a press release on September 7th, ARABSAT, the satellite communications operator and EMC (Emerging Markets Communications) announced the launch of TRIO, the world’s first truly triple play service by satellite. The service will provide access to internet, telephone and television. There will also be a version of the service for professionals.
This new service will be available after the November launch and operational start of the Badr-7 Arabast (26° East) satellite.
