The Romanian Creative Week, an event specifically for the creative industries, took place in Iași from May 13th to 24th.
The RCW defines itself as a platform where “technological innovation and cultural trends […] intertwine to create fertile spaces for the development of new forms of communication and collaboration.”
The event fosters interdisciplinary co-operation between the world of art (cinema, theatre, design and digital media) and the world of finance through calls for projects, conferences and a cultural programme.
Alongside the summit on economic developments, attended by 500 people, the Arthouse Cinema section offered screenings of films by internationally renowned directors such as Jean-Luc Godard and Richard Linklater.
