ARTI

Nawfel Raghay has been appointed Director General of the Association des Radios et Télévisions Indépendantes (ARTI).

A graduate from the Mohammadia School of Engineers, Raghay also holds a Master’s degree in audiovisual studies from the American University in Washington D.C. His career has included the worlds of regulation, institutional management, public broadcasting and private media management. He was active in liberalising the audiovisual sector at HACA (Haute Autorité de la Communication Audiovisuelle), before holding strategic management positions at Moroccan television, at the national commission for controlling personal data and again at HACA during a period of institutional consolidation. He then served as Director General of the Chada Media Group, which he represented at ARTI.

“The appointment of Nawfel Raghay reflects our commitment to providing ARTI with a permanent operational capacity,” announced ARTI’s president, Younes Boumehdi: “capable of supporting our priorities over the long term, bolstering the Association’s work and strengthening our institutional dialogue. It should also allow us to accelerate collective projects which benefit all members.”
