“ReScript the Future” is a chance for young people to submit ideas for a 15-minute documentary about environmental issues. The two winners, one aged 13-18 and the other 19-24, will receive a €25,000 budget to turn their script into a film. The two films will then be shown at the 2022 Aegean Film Festival and distributed by the WaterBear Network, the first streaming platform devoted to the future of the planet. Four other entrants will win internship places in London, Athens, Amsterdam and Bristol. All finalists will join the jury and festival guests on the islands this summer.
The deadline for entries is June 20th 2021. The competition is organized by the American College of Greece and NBC Universal.
