NORTH AFRICA / Launching the 2nd cycle of the North African Cultural Programme

NACP

The North Africa Cultural Programme (NACP) has opened an application call for its second cycle (2024-2027).

Created by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) and financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the NACP is a three-year programme open to five North African countries: Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya.

The programme is divided into two support schemes: a National Fund and a Regional Fund for Creativity. Together these two funds strengthen independent arts and cultural entities (institutions, collectives, networks, etc.), encourage regional collaborations and support the distribution, circulation and dissemination of every kind of artistic work.

The National Fund offers financial support to cultural entities which actively contribute to the diversification of cultural activities, both in city centres and in the outskirts. The Regional Fund supports collaborative projects which have been created by partnerships with at least one North African partner and one based in Africa and/or the Arab region.

Interested organizations must submit their application via the AFAC website by March 5th at the latest.
