ACM Distribution, part of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), is launching a call for projects. The deadline to apply is March 8th.
Open to every genre of feature-length films, this fund aims to boost the distribution and circulation of international co-productions throughout the world. To be eligible, the films must be co-produced by both a European and a non-European country. The producers’ participation must be between 20% and 70% of the film’s budget. Selected projects may receive financial aid of up to €60,000.
Apart from the financial support, this initiative offers film industry professionals the chance to increase their film’s visibility internationally.
ACM Distribution plays an important role in developing international co-productions. In 2023 it supported films such as Kamal Lazraq’s Les Meutes (Morocco), La Dernière Reine by Adila Bendimerad and Damien Ounouri (Algeria), Youssef Chebbi’s Ashkal (Tunisia) and Maryam Touzani’s Le Bleu du Caftan (Morocco).
Application details are available on the CNC’s website.
