The television channel 2M has announced its schedules for the holy month of Ramadan.
With series, sitcoms, comedy, cooking and religious programmes, the channel highlights the diversity of Moroccan production. As 2M’s Managing Director, Salim Cheikh explains: “Creativity is the engine which drives 2M’s and our partners’ commitment to delivering a captivating television experience. For Ramadan 2024 we have drawn inspiration from the best national talents to weave rich and varied narrative threads.”
The schedule includes a new comedy show, FEDTV 3, with Moroccan comedian Hassan El Fad. Also in the comedy vein, this year 2M is broadcasting Jib Darkom!, a series hosted by Aziz Hattab, Maria Nadim and Abdellah Ferkous. Turning to more serious drama, the Jouj Wjouh series follows Allal who, released from prison after a sentence for a theft committed when he was younger, wants his share from his former partner Mehdi.
Throughout the holy month 2M offers other programmes, including the family saga Bnat Al Hadid and the mini-series Achayatine La Tatoub.
