MONTENEGRO / Director Srđan Vuletić shooting his new feature

Otter

Bosnian director Srđan Vuletić has started shooting The Otter in Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica.

In an interview with Cineuropa, Vuletić explains that his new feature “is about an introverted 16-year-old girl, Hana, who is supposed to have the happiest day of her life when the boy she is in love with invites her for a trip on the lake. But that morning her father dies, and her response isn’t exactly what she’d imagined.” The screenplay is written by Stefan Bošković.

The film is produced by Artikulacija film (Montenegro), in co-production with Redibis film (Italy), Izazov 365 (Croatia), Realstage (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Buka production (Republic of Kosovo).

It is supported by the Montenegro Film Centre, the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC), the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, Sarajevo Film Foundation and Kosovo Film Centre.

In 2020 the project won the Eurimages Co-production Development Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival’s CineLink Industry Days.
