MEDITALENTS has opened the project call for its 5th LabDoc. Registration is open until December 3rd 2023.
Each year, LabDoc chooses eight writers from the Mediterranean region and supports them as they work on their first or second documentary. The projects are selected by a committee of six producers and writers. The aim is to develop quality documentary writing by emerging authors from Mediterranean countries while also promoting the richness and challenges of the region’s cultures.
For those selected there will be three 5-day residential writing sessions in Marseille between April and October 2024, interspersed with two on-line sessions. Each LabDoc ends with a day of pitching projects to film and broadcasting professionals.
