The second Films Femmes Francophones | Méditerranée will be held from November 4th to 11th 2019 in the Jounieh region of the Lebanon. It is organized by Bande à Part Productions, in partnership with the Lebanon’s French Institute, Jounieh’s French Institute and the NDU International Film Festival.
Specifically for feature-length dramas, FFFMED is a week-long script-writing course which welcomes women directors from French-speaking countries or communities in the Mediterranean basin and its diaspora. The participants will work on their scenarios with professional consultants – authors, directors and producers. The sessions will take place at the French Institute in Jounieh and Notre-Dame University – Louaize (NDU).
Through the programme, FFFMED wants to build a platform to exchange experience and know-how, strengthen intercultural dialogue in the region and give visibility to new talent.
Registration is open until September 1st (for normal registration) and September 8th (for late registration).
The successful candidates will be announced at the end of September 2019.
