Roya Media Group has announced three of its series which will air on Roya TV during Ramadan.

The highly anticipated comedy series Watan A’Water returns for a new season. Originally broadcast on Palestinian television about fifteen years ago, it continues today with its leading actor Imad Farajin. The sketches in this series “reflect the pulse of Jordanian society and address everyday social issues in an accessible and entertaining way.”

Roya Media Group also presents a new comedy-drama, Quban Mousa. Set in a quiet village, the series follows Mousa, who inherits his father’s old shop, known as “Quban,” and finds himself in confrontation with a property speculator wanting to transform the place into a modern commercial project. According to the Group’s press release, “this series reflects Roya’s ongoing commitment to producing dramas which blends entertainment with meaningful social themes.

Finally, the culinary television show Aqwa Sofra with Almarai is returning for a new season, which completed filming in January.
