JORDAN / The first Mosaic Post-production LAB

Mosaic Post-production LAB

In November 2024 the Royal Film Commission of Jordan opened the first Mosaic Post-production Lab.

This new initiative is a regional training programme designed to support Arab film editors and directors during the post-production of their first or second feature film. The programme aims to help them by providing expert advice and support for their projects.

It takes place in two phases. The first, online, began in November 2024 and will run until February 2025. During this stage, professionals talk to the participants about the creative aspects of post-production, showing them how to use effective editing to create coherent and compelling stories.

The second stage will be in-person from April 10th to 16th 2025. Over five days in Jordan film-makers will participate in individual and group meetings, benefitting from critical feedback to help them refine the editing of their projects.
