JORDAN / Roya Media Group announces a record audience during Ramadan

In a press release dated June 6th 2025, Roya Media Group (RMG) announced it had broken audience records during Ramadan last March.

According to RMG, Roya’s digital platforms exceeded 2 billion views on social media, a 42% increase on last year. In addition, its website and mobile apps recorded over 72 million views, a 26% year-on-year increase.

According to an Ipsos study, for the sixth consecutive year Roya TV is the leading Jordanian channel in terms of daily audience. It achieved an audience share of 56.6%, a 12.5% ​​increase compared to Ramadan 2024. Throughout the month more than 2.8 million Jordanians watched Roya TV every day.

Among the most successful programmes, Comedy Hour dominated the daily audience with a 25.3% share. In the drama series category, Al Sabaa and Taht Sabe’ Arḍ were the most-watched series in Jordan throughout Ramadan 2025.
