Jalta: Kebrat Al-Eileh won the Best Jordanian TV Series Award for its 5th season. The stars of the series, Zuhair Alnobani and Amal Dabbas, were named Jordan’s Best Actor and Best Actress.
During Ramadan viewers are invited to vote on more than 80 Arab drama films shown during the month. Almost a million viewers voted.
Created and written by The Creative Lab and produced by The Show (two service providers from Roya Media Group), Jalta: Kebrat Al-Eileh is a comedy-drama chronicling the daily life of the Abu Foad family. Each season the family find itself confronted with new challenges. Through its use of humour the series highlights the problems of Jordanian society.
Many famous Arab actors are featured in this sitcom, including Zuhair Alnobani, Amal Dabbas (Jordan) and Jenny Esber and Mohammad Khair Al Jarrah (Syria).
Broadcast by Roya Media Group, this soap opera is a great public success. During Ramadan 2022, it was watched online more than 62 million times, including 20 million by viewers in Saudi Arabia.
