ISRAEL / Short film competition from the Ma’aleh School of Television, Film & the Arts

Ma'aleh

The Ma’aleh School of Film and Television in Jerusalem has launched an international short film competition called HaBayitah – Homeward. The idea came as a response to the coronavirus pandemic. The school said that “in a time of ‘social distancing’, this is a project for international unity, bringing together creative works on a theme relevant to us all.” Each short video – maximum length 2 minutes – should be a personal interpretation of the word “homeward”.

The competition is open to amateurs and professionals of all ages, nationalities and beliefs. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best videos, those selected will be shared on the Ma’aleh School YouTube page.

The dead-line to take part is October 18th. For more information, click here.
