Every April MIPTV, the international television market, is held in Cannes, where producers and distributors from more than 85 countries come together to discover recent and upcoming television programmes.
Ahead of this event, on April 6th and 7th, there will be the 26th international salon for documentary production, MIPDOC, with screenings, conferences and pitch sessions.
This year Dawn Porter the documentary film-maker and founder of Trilogy Films, will be the keynote speaker. She will share her views on how to address the challenges of the global documentary industry.
Poppy Dixon, Sky’s Head of News and Documentaries, and Beatrice Rossmanith, the Head of International Affairs at Glance, will also host seminars.
