GREECE / The Agora co-production forum announces 15 chosen projects

The 20th Agora Crossroads Co-production Forum will be held in Thessaloniki from November 3rd to 7th as part of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival (October 31st to November 10th).

AGORA presents 15 film projects from 17 countries in South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean region. The forum is designed to foster networking, co-production and creative collaboration within the international film industry. AGORA also offers personalized support to help those participating present their projects to film financiers.

There are a variety of awards offered each year by AGORA’s partners: the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) awards €8,000 for script development, the Onassis Film Award worth €10,000 goes to one of the Greek projects presented. In all ten awards are presented.

Among this year’s selected projects: THE APPALLING HUMAN VOICE OF THE ANIMALS by Neritan Zinxhiria (Greece), A WHITE HOUSE by Francesco Romano (Italy, France), BLEACH (Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro), DYING BIRD by Diego Llorente (Spain) and THE HUNCHBACK by Ahu Ozturk (Turkey).
