The two journalists Thomas Iacobi and Angélique Kourounis continue their investigation into the Greek neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn, shooting a new documentary on the subject — Golden Dawn: a Public Affair.
Their first documentary, Golden Dawn, a Personal Affair, tried to get inside the workings of the party which is the third political force in Greece. Filmed over 5 years, it was selected by many international festivals, winning the 2016 Averroes Junior PriMed Award — whereas in Greece it has only been shown in two cinemas.
With Golden Dawn, a Public Affair the journalists want to provide answers to the rise of the far right in Europe, reflecting on ways to resist it. Filming, which began eighteen months ago, will end in a few months when the verdict of the ongoing Golden Dawn lawsuit is announced.
To complete the production of the film successfully, Internet users can make a donation on the documentary’s web-site (http://goldendawnapublicaffair.com/fr/).
