Registration for the 2021 International Festival of Mediterranean Documentary and Reportage is officially open. For this 25th edition the deadline for registration is April 15th 2021.
Every year Primed is a showcase for documentary films and television reports from across the Mediterranean basin. They can be about the socio-political changes within the region, its history or its culture.
This year’s festival has five categories:
- Mediterranean Issues
- Mediterranean Memory
- First Film
- Mediterranean Art, Heritage and Culture
- Mediterranean Short Film
Any documentary film or television report which falls into one of these categories and was produced between 2019 and 2021 is eligible for PriMed.
Between May and June an international selection committee will choose the finalists for PriMed’s final phase, scheduled for Marseille at the end of the year.
The deliberations of the International Jury and the Mediterranean Youth Jury, as well as public screenings, meetings and the award ceremony will be organized in several cultural venues in Marseille.
