The Egyptian video-on-demand platform, Watch It, has presented its schedules for Ramadan.
Within a broad choice of programmes the platform highlights its new series Lahzet Ghadab. Written by Mohab Tarek and directed by Abdel Aziz El-Nagar, the cast of this thriller includes top actors such as Mohamed Shahin, Aly Kassem, Sarrah Abd El-Rahman, and Mohamed Fareed.
On the comedy side, Watch It announced the eighth season of its series Al Kebeer Awy. It is carried by the actor Ahmed Mekky who plays three characters: the mayor of Al-Mazarita (a fictional Egyptian village) and the mayor’s twin sons. While their father lies on his deathbed his sons are competing with each other to see which will succeed him.
Beyond Lahzet Ghadab and Al Kebeer Awy, other series will be broadcast including Embratoreyet Mem, Seid El Akareb, Baba Geh and Gawdar. Four series for younger viewers are also included in the schedule.
