FRANCE / France Télévisions, the multiple winner at the Festival de Luchon

A festival of creative television closed with an awards ceremony on Saturday February 4th. There were some twenty awards, chosen by 3 juries plus the audience votes.

Laurent Pereau’s film for Arte, La Bête Curieuse, won the Pyrénées d’OR for Best Drama, with Laura Smet as principal actress.

Most of the award-winners, though, were made by France Télévisions: three awards from the documentary jury: for Benoît Grimont’s Le prof de gym, Marion Gervais’ La belle vie and Nous, ouvriers by Claire Feinstein and Gilles Perez. Three Audience Awards: Nous, ouvriers, also by Claire Feinstein and Gilles Perez, Amir Shadzi’s Des jours meilleurs and Lorenzo Gabriele’s La soif de vivre. And finally Best Director Award for Thierry Poiraud and Julien Despaux for Zone Blanche.
