The newspaper Egypt Independent has reported that the historical TV series “Talaat Harb”, which has been talked about for many years, is finally being made, with Mohamed al-Sayed Eid as writer and Sherif Arafa (“Dark Birds”, “Halim”) directing.
Talaat Harb (1867-1941) was an Egyptian economist, founder of Banque Misr (Bank of Egypt) and other large companies which helped build Egypt’s national economic identity.
