In partnership with France 3 Corse Via Stella and France 3 Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the CMCA – Centre Méditerranéen de la Communication Audiovisuelle – is organising the 1st CourtMed short film competition.
Open to students at universities, film schools and journalism schools, as well as to all filmmakers aged between 18 and 30, this competition aims to showcase the work and vision of young mediterranean filmmakers by offering them the opportunity to share their creations more widely.
The audiovisual works presented deal with subjects relating to issues, culture, heritage, history, societies and the lives of women and men in Mediterranean countries. Any audiovisual work regardless of genre and technique (fiction, documentary, report, animation, etc.) with a maximum duration of 15 minutes and completed after January 1, 2023 is eligible.
Three awards will be granted to the winners of “CourtMed”: a CMCA Award (worth €500) and two Broadcast awards presented by our partners France 3 Corse Via Stella and France 3 Provence-Alpes-Côte d’azur.
The call for films is open until 15 February 2024.
