The Union Radiophonique et Télévisuelle Internationale (URTI), in partnership with UNESCO and every international broadcasting organization, is organizing the 36th International Grand Prix of Independent Documentary – the Arman Trophy.
The competition honours the best independent, creative documentaries with 4 awards: the Grand Prix (500 dollars to the award winning director), Silver Medal, Bronze Medal and the Martine Filippi Award for new talent.
Entry is free and open until April 18th 2017. Every public and private television company as well as any associations and institutions working in broadcasting are invited to participate, with a maximum of two programmes per organization.
The 10 finalists will be announced by the jury. They will receive international publicity through a published brochure enabling them to promote and sell their rights.
