TURKEY / The Arabic version of the Turkish series “Içerde” now available

Since August 25th the Arabic adaptation of the Turkish series Içerde (Inside), now called Al Ameel, has been available on MBC1, the leading pan-Arab Saudi television channel, and on the streaming platform Shahid. So now the series can be seen across much of North Africa and the Middle East.

Its cast includes a large number of Syrian and Lebanese actors including Ayman Zeidan, Samer Ismail, Wissam Fares, Fadi Sobeih, Talal Jurdi and Ayman Reda.

Written by Rami Koussa and directed by Barbaros Bilgin, Al Ameel is the story of two brothers separated since childhood and who, growing up, follow opposite paths. Amir, a police academy graduate, is tasked with infiltrating a notorious criminal gang. As he becomes accepted by the gang he discovers one of its members is his brother Milhem. A game of cat and mouse ensues as the brothers confront their past.

The series was broadcast in Turkey between 2016 and 2017 by the national television channel Show TV.
