Kinostar, a Germany-based programming distributor, has partnered with OKAST, a Paris-based streaming technology provider, to launch Turk on Video Free, its first FAST channel (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV). The new channel will be available on Amazon Freevee.
Turk on Video Free offers a selection of Turkish films and is positioned as a linear complement to Kinostar’s existing Turk on Video channels, already available on Amazon Channels throughout German-speaking Europe, the Benelux countries and Scandinavia.
The launch of this FAST channel was carried out in collaboration with FAST4EU, a European consortium co-funded by the European Union. Since 2022 FAST4EU has actively supported the creation and launch of FAST channels to meet audience needs across the European Union.
