To launch their programmes during Ramadan, Tunisian television has highlighted the new series.

This year the Wataniya 1 channel is presenting the Bab Errezq series. Written by Mohamed Ali Dammak and directed by Heifel Ben Youssef, it is about a group of factory workers facing difficult working conditions, corruption and exploitation. Having written scripts for two soaps, El Icha Fen (2012) and Hajjer Land (2014), this is Ben Youssef’s first work as director.

Watching director Abdelhamid Bouchnak’s 8-minute trailer for his new project Ragouj created high excitement among viewers. Broadcast on the Nessma TV channel, they were given a taste of this 17-episode social drama carried by a cast which includes Amira Chebli, Aziz Jebali, Fatma Sfar and Chedly Arfaoui.

Abdelhamid Bouchnak made his reputation directing several projects for cinema and television, including the successful series, Nouba (2019) and the feature film Papillon d’or (2021).
