At a press conference on April 18th Moez Ben Gharbia, head of Attassiaa TV, announced the launch of this new private channel which will broadcast on Nilesat. Transmission will begin on May 18th with a game-show, while programmes for Ramadan will begin on June 18th. A generalist channel, 90% of its output will be local productions for Tunisians. Its programme schedule will include entertainment shows, sports and news programmes. According to Moez Ben Gharbia, the channel is being financed by Tunisian businessmen.
