The MEDIMED Euro-Mediterranean documentary market has launched a call for projects and films for its 21st edition, scheduled to take place between October 8th and 11th in Sitges (Spain), or online if the situation does not allow for a physical event.
MEDIMED brings together television professionals and independent producers to discuss Euro-Mediterranean documentary co-production projects and newly completed films. A jury selects 30 of the best projects and these are then pitched by their production team to a panel of international television executives.
Completed documentaries must have been made in 2019 or 2020. Their country of origin must be European or Mediterranean. They can be of any genre, but their length must be compatible with broadcast television schedules.
MEDIMED is organised by APIMED (Association de Producteurs Indépendants de la Méditerranée).
