SPAIN / Candidate Call for Medimed 2016

The 17th Medimed, the Euro-Mediterranean Documentary Market, will be held from October 13^th to 16^th 2016 in Sitges, near Barcelona.

As every year, the event organized by APIMED (the Association of Independent Mediterranean Producers) will offer a pitching forum, lectures and opportunities for meeting and finding business partners for the best documentary projects from the European Union and southern Mediterranean countries.

Medimed has launched an application call to directors and producers wishing to present their projects or their films completed in 2015 or 2016. Registration is free, with a deadline of June 30^th 2016.

Finished films will be presented in the Docs Gallery section, while projects looking for development (with at least 25% of the budget already found and / or a broadcast guarantee or a co-production deal) can apply to the pitching Forum and the Speedy Pitch Meetings.
