The 17th International Film Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will take place from March 31st to April 9th.
The festival director, Luis Miranda, presented the programme at the end of February. This year, a hundred films will be screened throughout the island.
The films selected are divided into several categories: an official section, a panorama, a Spanish panorama, films about the Canary Islands and MECAS – a film market to support and finance projects needing post-production and distribution.
Finally during this event there will be La noche más freak and Linterna mágica for young audiences, both in collaboration with the Monopol Music Festival.
