La Fabrique des Formats helps independent production companies who have an idea for a new format for a game, a show, a drama or documentary series. The company has launched a call for new ideas, with the deadline for applications extended to March 19th 2017.
The Fabrique des Formats can finance the production of a pilot or a trailer. The average amount allocated for a selected project is €100,000, but it can be as high as €300,000. A jury of 11 broadcasting professionals makes the selection and then supports each chosen project.
