According to the weekly newspaper Courrier International, a group of Serbian citizens has launched a petition against TV-reality programmes and their spread across TV channels. Four such programmes are broadcast every day on Serbian TV (Big Brother, Couples, The Farm and Maldives). The petition, signed by over 100,000 people, criticizes these programmes for “their trivialization of verbal and physical violence and explicit sex scenes.”
