NORTH MACEDONIA / OneTwoThree Media buys the rights of “Snow White Dies in the End”

After a preview at the Slamdance Film Festival (Utah), the international rights to Kristijan Risteski’s feature Snow White Dies in the End have been acquired by the American company OneTwoThree Media.

Co-produced by Vertigo Visual (North Macedonia) and Caretta Films (Cyprus), this satirical, absurdist film is set in Skopje. It’s about seven people on the margins of society, all seen from a fly’s perspective. The intertwining tales of love, friendship and commitment include a gynaecologist trying to help a dead friend’s junkie son, three mates hanging out at a video store and dreaming of a better future and a radio presenter in love with a young woman who makes clothes for trees.

Kristijan Risteski is also a writer and producer for Vertigo Visual. Although he has produced five feature films, six shorts, two television series and over 250 television commercials, Snow White Dies in the End is his first film as director.

With a budget of €370,000 the film received €200,000 from the Macedonian Film Agency.
