TV5MONDE is again the most watched French-language channel in North Africa in the 15 and over category, according to the 2018 figures provided by Kantar TNS Africascope Maghreb.
In the three countries concerned, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, TV5MONDE achieved a cumulative weekly audience of 11.3% in that age-bracket, its second best score since the study was launched in 2010.
The channel continues to do well in Morocco, where it recorded its highest audiences (15.8% of the weekly audience in that same age-bracket).
In Algeria, TV5 MONDE achieved its best figures for 6 years — 8.4% on the cumulative audience indicator, an increase of 2.2 points on the previous year.
The overall audience share among those aged 15 and over is 1.2%, with an average daily viewing of 55 minutes.
