MOROCCO / Audience figures rising for SNRT and 2M

In a press release SNRT, Morocco’s National Radio and Television Company, published its recent audience figures.

From the 1st to the 25th day of Ramadan, in the prime segment after ftour (breaking the fast), the broadcaster’s audience share reached 40%. Compared to 2023, this represents an increase of 23%. Al Aoula, SNRT’s generalist channel, increased its share by 35.4% compared to last year.

Among the most popular programmes, the comedy series Wlad Izza averaged more than 6.7 million viewers. The 2nd season of Salah W Fati was another success with nearly 5.6 million viewers.

2M also announced its results. On the first day of Ramadan the audience rating was 36.8%. The most watched series on this first day were Jib Darkom (12 million viewers), Joj Wjouh (10 million viewers) and Bnat Lahdid, with nearly 8 million viewers.
