The call for projects for Close Up is open until July 9th.
Close Up is an independent not-for-profit NGO based in Brussels. Every year it offers a training, development and mentorship programme for emerging documentary film-makers from South West Asia and North Africa.
Participants must have made at least one short film. Only projects in the development, pre-production or production phase will be accepted. The training offers three one-week workshops which will take place in December, March and June.
Prestigious awards, cash prizes and residencies are awarded to Close Up film-makers at the pitching forum, with invited representatives of the documentary industry in attendance.
