CIRCLE has announced this year’s 10 selected projects for its Women Doc Accelerator programme.
CIRCLE is a unique international training programme for directors, producers and non-binaries working in documentaries and drama. Its Doc Accelerator programme, created in 2018, offers training to 10 women with documentary projects.
The programme consists of three modules during which the trainees will be supported individually and in groups by mentors. The modules include film screenings, case studies, discussions and meetings with established directors.
The programme for this 7th edition begins in July in Greece, in partnership with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. It will continue in September in Serbia and end in Italy during the When East Meets West festival in January 2025.
Among the selected projects: Amazonas (Spain) by Clara Lopez Rubio, A Letter to My Children (Bosnia-Herzegovina) by Ines Tanović and Portrait of A (Jordan) by Rand Beiruty.
