JORDAN / Roya TV celebrates its 10th anniversary by launching the Roya Media Group

Roya TV has launched the Roya Media Group (RMG). Using the slogan #New_World, the Jordanian broadcaster wants to target all segments of the local, regional and international community. By consolidating all of its services in a single entity, the new group hopes to strengthen its market presence as a regional audiovisual powerhouse.

The aim is to “respond to a wide range of interests in various sectors of the media” using the latest industry technologies and thus position the company as “the principal news source”.

The idea is to create unique local and Arab content, meeting viewers’ demands by narrating their reality as promised in the Roya slogan “#From_You_To_You”.

RMG brings together: 

  • Roya platform, a set of cultural and entertainment programmes; 
  • Roya News, a continuous news platform; 
  • Donya Ya Donya, presenting the latest trends in lifestyle, fashion, food, beauty and celebrity news;
  • and Roya Bazaar, an online shopping platform. 
  • The Creative Lab and Roya Talents are both talent incubators while The Show is the production arm, providing services and equipment.
  • Finally Roya Kitchen and Roya Kids will soon complete the group’s offer.

Since its creation in 2011, Roya TV has become the most watched channel in Jordan. The launch of RMG signals the group’s desire to continue creating content for the next decade.
