Roya Media Group has announced that filming is now finished for the second season of its comedy series Ya Ana Ya Heya. Currently in post-production, the new season is scheduled for Ramadan 2026 on Roya TV.
There will be thirty half-hour episodes, twice as many as the first season. Roya News explains that doubling the number of episodes allowed “the director and writers greater flexibility to develop the characters and deepen the plot.”
The series is a comedy about a Jordanian woman trying to sell her house in Damascus – against the wishes of her Syrian neighbour, who does everything she can to thwart her plans.
Alongside the two lead actresses, Amal Arafa and Amal Dabbas, there are new characters and a cast of Syrian stars, including Nadine Tahseen Bek, Mohammad Hadaki and Jamal Al-Ali.
