WorldDAB, with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), is organising a technical workshop from July 20th to 22nd to discuss DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and the evolution of digital radio networks.
Held online over three mornings, the event will bring together technical experts and operational managers to discuss the deployment, operation and innovations associated with DAB+ networks.
The organisers want to provide “useful advice and information to countries developing DAB+ networks” while giving participants direct access to specialists involved in the planning and deployment of digital radio infrastructure.
WorldDAB is the annual global forum for digital radio, aiming to facilitate its adoption and implementation based on the DAB standard, which has been adopted by broadcasters in Europe, Asia-Pacific and beyond. Among its members are Rai (Italy), RTVE (Spain), TDA (Algeria) and EPT (Greece).
