The two companies want to work together on “high-end European TV series”. Any French or Israeli writer with a TV series to their credit is invited to submit a maximum of two proposals in English (preferred) or in Hebrew. The deadline is October 31st 2016.

The series format must be either one hour or half an hour. The narrative must have a European theme and include French elements (or elements easily transferable to France). The presence of Israeli characters is optional.

Newen and Keshet International will announce the selected projects in January 2017.

The candidates must send their ideas direct to the Newen web-site.

Newen, a subsidiary of the TF1 group founded in 2008, has made several successful TV dramas, for example “Plus belle la vie”, “Braquo”, “Versailles” and “Candice Renoir”. Keshet International, the production and distribution branch of the Keshet Media Group, has a reputation for making Israeli series which have sold worldwide, including “Prisoners of War”, “False Flag” and “The A Word”.
