In early April the French Centre National du Cinéma (CNC) took emergency measures to help film-makers and audiovisual companies cope with the health crisis. One of the measures authorizes the early release of films on DVD.
At the start of the month 31 films had applied for authorisation, then 12 new films were added to the list. Among these, two were released in early March, Oskar & Lily by Arash T. Riahi and La danse du serpent by Sofia Quiros Ubeda.
The Franco-Tunisian project Sortilège by Ala Eddine Slim, Deux by the Italian Filippo Meneghetti or Le Prince oublié by Michel Hazanavicius are also on the list.
